The Groveland Water & Sewer Department will begin its fall flushing program next week.

The department’s twice yearly flushing helps to maintain the quality and clarity of the town’s water supply, but can result in temporary discoloration in the areas where flushing is taking place.

Residents should keep in mind that they may experience low or even NO water pressure during flushing. Water may also appear cloudy or discolored. This discoloration can be alleviated running cold water through a high flow faucet (such as a bath tub) near the entry point of water service to your home.
