Superintendent Colin Stokes reports that the Groveland Water and Sewer Department is issuing an outdoor water ban as of June 28 in response to the Commonwealth declaring a level 2 drought.

Residents are asked to please cease all outdoor watering until the ban has been lifted. The Groveland Water and Sewer Department will notify residents when drought conditions improve.

The lower Town water levels get, the more minerals get pulled from the ground, which causes discolored water.

“Please do your part to help us conserve out water resources and avoid further discolored water,” said Superintendent Stokes.
