GROVELAND–Superintendent Colin Stokes reports that the Groveland Water and Sewer Department is actively working to repair a water main break on Alpha Road.
Crews are currently on-scene at Alpha Road assessing the issues. Repairs will be made today into tonight, if necessary.
Water will be shut off in multiple areas to complete repairs. To minimize the duration of required water shutdowns, Groveland Water and Sewer will only be shutting down water mains that will affect essential repair work.
Areas that are likely to be affected by the shutdown include Alpha Road, Briscoe Road, Cannon Hill Road Extension, Cannon Hill Avenue, and Muriel Road.
Water is currently shut off on parts of Alpha Road, and all of Muriel Road.
A CodeRed alert has been sent to residents.
Groveland Water and Sewer are working diligently to return service to the area as quickly as possible.
