GROVELAND — The Groveland Water and Sewer Department would like to share the following information about annual spring hydrant flushing.
Hydrant flushing will begin Monday, April 6 and continue through April 23, subject to change. To view the full schedule, including affected streets, click here.
During flushing, residents may experience low pressure and/or temporary discoloration. Water pressure should return to normal once flushing is complete.
Flushing is conducted twice a year to help ensure sustained water quality and support the longevity of the system’s infrastructure.
Residents are reminded to sign up for the Town’s new emergency notification system to be notified of important information related to hydrant flushing, water main breaks or service interruptions are taking place. Residents who would like to receive alerts from the Water and Sewer Department must select the non-emergency alerts option, and can register here.
Groveland Water thanks residents for their patience and understanding during this required maintenance.
