Groveland Water and Sewer would like to share the following information regarding the statewide drought.
The Massachusetts State Drought Task Force has voted to downgrade Groveland’s drought status to a Level 1 drought.
This change means residents may now use outdoor watering one (1) day per week. Watering should occur after 5 p.m. and before 9 a.m.
Drip irrigation of flower beds and vegetable gardens is still permitted, as well as the use of hand-held hoses.
Groveland Water and Sewer thanks residents for their understanding.
As a reminder, the State Drought Task Force issues these guidelines, and the department must notify the public of the task force’s decisions.
